This is my "why"
This is a portrait of my great great great grandparents. The back of the photo reads "Samuel Clark Boyd (1831-1906) and Nancy Ann Lee Boyd. They were Married 12-25-1855 and were the parents of Asa Lee Boyd + 9 brothers and sisters." I cannot begin to describe the awe I felt as I gazed into the faces of my ancestors and scanned the photo into digital format. It is neither an image of youth nor action but holding this portrait is the moment that photography became a passion of mine.
